Kurdistan Freedom Guerrillas kill 10 Turkish soldiers in 8 actions
Ten Turkish soldiers were killed in 8 actions carried out by the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrillas.
The HPG Press Center issued a statement saying that “as a result of 8 actions carried out by our guerrillas, at least 10 soldiers were killed.”
The statement added: “The invading Turkish army bombed the Resistance Areas 31 times with banned bombs, chemical weapons and gas, 2 times with warplanes, 50 times with combat helicopters, and dozens of times with howitzers, mortars and tanks. It has been determined that the chemical weapons used in the Martyr Serxwebûn battle positions in the Çemço Resistance Area have a sweet taste and a heavy smell.”

“In the Zap region as part of the Bazên Zagrosê Revolutionary Campaign:
On September 29, the invaders who wanted to enter the Martyr Serxwebûn battle positions in the Çemço Resistance Area were hit 3 times with sabotage tactics. At least 5 invaders were killed in these actions.
On October 2, at 08:40, the invaders in the Çemço Resistance Area were shot by our mobile team snipers and the 2 soldiers were killed.
On October 2, at 08:30, the invaders who took action around the Martyr Agir battle positions in the Sîda Resistance Area were targeted by snipers and one invader was killed.
On October 2, at 16:20, the invaders in the Çemço Resistance Area were shot by our mobile teams with heavy weapons and one invader was killed.
On October 2, at 16:00, the invaders who took action around the Martyr Agir battle positions in the Sîda Resistance Area were shot with heavy weapons and one invader was killed.
Within the framework of the Cenga Xabûre Martyr War Maraş Revolutionary Campaign: A Skorsky helicopter, which wanted to land on the Girê Amediyê Resistance Area at night on October 1, was targeted by our mobile teams and had to leave the area.

On October 2, the battle positions in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area and the Martyr Bahoz battle positions in the Çemço Resistance Area were bombed 4 times with banned bombs and chemical weapons.
On October 2, Martyr Felat battle positions in the Sîda Resistance Area were bombed 15 times with banned bombs and chemical weapons.
On September 29, October 1 and October 2, Martyr Serxwebûn battle positions in the Çemço Resistance Area were bombed 12 times with banned bombs, chemical weapons and tear gas. It has been determined that the taste of the chemical weapons used is sweet and the smell is heavy.
Attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army:
On October 2, the Gunde Şêlazê land of Metîna and the Çemço Resistance Area were bombed twice by warplanes.
On October 2, Saca, Martyr Fedakar, Kurojahro, Girê Amediyê and Girê Cûdî Resistance Areas were bombed 50 times by combat helicopters.
On October 2, the Girê FM and Çemço Resistance Areas and the Girê Bestanê area of Xakurkê were bombed dozens of times by howitzers, mortars and tanks.
On October 2, drone activity was observed over the Saca, Girê Cûdî and Girê Amediyê Resistance Areas.
The invading Turkish army is trying to destroy the battle positions in the Karker Resistance Area with buckets and crushing buckets.
On 30 September, our friend Xebat Xançepek, who was on duty in the Şeranîş region of Heftanîn, was ambushed by the Heres Border forces of the Iraqi state, then surrounded by four armored vehicles and demanded to surrender. Our friend Xebat called out to these forces surrounding him. He stated that he did not want any clash, that they should pave the way and that he would go his own way. When these forces said he should surrender, comrade Xebat stated that he would not accept surrender as an honourable PKK guerrilla and shot his right hand with his pistol. Our comrade Xebat, who was seriously injured, was taken by these forces and handed over to the KDP Asayish and taken to the Duhok hospital. According to the information we received our friend's health condition remains serious.
On October 2, the Helgurt and Hornê areas of Goşînê in Xakurkê were bombed by Iranian forces with howitzers and mortars. As a result of these bombings, the vineyards and gardens of local people were damaged.”
