FEMEN protests “war criminals” in Paris
The women's organization FEMEN protested in Paris against the visit of the heads of state of various countries to the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I with the slogan "Welcome war criminals".
To mark the centenary of the end of the First World War, French President Emmanuel Macron invited several heads of state, including the Turkish dictator Erdoğan, to the French capital Paris.
The women's organization FEMEN received the heads of state at the Arc de Triomphe with the slogan "Welcome war criminals".
The women had written on their bodies: "Fake Peacemakers - Real Dictators."
A written statement published by FEMEN on the protest demonstration also criticized Turkish President Erdogan for “waging an unrelenting war against Kurds”.
