Civil society organizations, feminists and Germans attended the rally organised to protest the Turkish president. "You are not welcome to Berlin, murderer", "No dirty deals", "German people don't want you" read the banners held by activists.

Nujiyan Günay, co-chair of the Berlin Free Kurdistan Community spoke at the rally denouncing the dirty deals made by Turkey.

Die Linke MP Hakan Tas said: "While the Merkel government should tell Erdoğan, it organizes a conference in Germany. I still don't understand that."

Berlin PYD representative Süleyman Haco drew attention to the massacres carried out by the Turkish state in Rojava.

Yazidi Women Movement member Nure Alkış said: "A few days ago, Shengal was attacked, people died. A dictator who is an enemy of Kurds is attacking everywhere Kurds live. Turkey wants to destroy Kurds."

Doctor Nick Brauns said Erdoğan should be held accountable for crimes against humanity and tried.
