27 gang members killed in Shehba and Efrîn

Revolutionary forces and YPG-YPJ forces frustrated the attacks of the Turkish army and affiliated gangs. The gangs took a toll of 27 killed and 7 wounded members.

The occupying Turkish army and gangs acting under their command continue their attacks on the villages of Efrîn and Shehba Canton.

The gangs attacked the villages of Celbirê, Qestel Cindo and Kefîr Xaşir and surroundings of the Rubar Refugee Camp in Efrîn Canton, and also the towns of Til Rifet and Şêx Îsa and villages of Hisiyê, Til Medîq and Qulsiroc in Shehba Canton.

Concurrently with these bombardments that continued into the morning hours, surveillance aircraft of the Turkish army flew over the region.

The gangs’ attack on Shehba Canton were retaliated by the Revolutionary Forces (Jaysh al-Thuwar), who destroyed two bulldozers of the gangs in the villages of Til Medîq and Tiwîsê.

Military sources from the Revolutionary Forces reported that 17 gang members were killed in Til Malid and Hisiyê villages, while another 7 were wounded.

YPG-YPJ fighters also responded to the attacks of the Turkish army and affiliated gangs on the villages of Celbirê, Qestel Cindo and Kefir Haşir, and 10 gang members were killed in the clashes that occurred in the Kafir Haşir village.

Furthermore, fighters of the Revolutionary Forces downed a surveillance aircraft of the Turkish army in Bilbilê district.
