Co-mayor of Siirt's Gökçebağ town jailed
Following his detention as part of the increasingly ongoing operations of political genocide two weeks ago, Co-mayor of Siirt's Gökçebağ town has been jailed.
Co-mayor of the municipality of Siirt's Gökçebağ town held by Democratic Regions' Party (DBP), Serhat Çiçek, who was held in custody for two weeks has appeared at court late yesterday evening following procedures at gendarmerie outpost.
Çiçek was formally arrested for alleged "membership to a terrorist organization".
