Group of women members of DAESH arrested in Raqqa

The women were carrying out intelligence work for DAESH (ISIS).

In a statement the Raqqa Internal Security Forces press centre said that the Internal Women's Security Forces have arrested a group of women members of DAESH (ISIS).

"In the past two days, the Raqqa Internal Security Women's Forces have arrested women carrying out intelligence work for DAESH", said the statement.

"Some sections want to use the detention of the people concerned for their political interests and to provoke the region's tribes in this regard. But their attempts have failed", added the statement.

The statement also confirmed that the file on the detained women has been referred to the Social Justice units.
