The Press Office of People’s Defense Forces (HPG) announced the results of an action carried out by guerrillas against the Turkish army in Kağızman district of Kars province.
According to the HPG statement, a sabotage action by guerrillas targeted a convoy of the Turkish army in Kağızman district of Kars province on October 21 as part of the Revolutionary Victory Campaign ongoing in Serhat region of northern Kurdistan.
While an armored vehicle was completely destroyed, 15 soldiers were killed and 3 others wounded as a result of the sabotage action which -HPG said- was carried out in memory of Beritan (Gülnaz Karataş) who became immortal on 25 October 1992.
