A group of young people who joined the guerrilla ranks, saying "We no longer accept even a single second without the leader. The memories of our comrades who represent the resilient spirit of women and youth are our compass."
A group of young people made a statement announcing their participation in the struggle in the guerrilla ranks in Kurdistan.
"We see the guerrilla positions that defend a moral and humane life against fascism and exploitation as our lodge of truth" said the statement and continued: "They want to make us accept a life without the Leader. For nearly 4 years, there has been no news from Leader Apo [Abdullah Öcalan] in any way. Leader Apo's life is in danger. As Apoist youth, we state that we do not accept and will not accept even a single second that we will spend without the Leader. We respond to the 26 years of isolation and fascism and take to the free mountains with the will and spirit of our martyrs.”
Pointing out that the fascist colonialists put all kinds of genocidal plans into action to liquidate Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan and the Freedom Movement, the statement continued; "Against this, YJA-STAR and HPG guerrillas are writing an epic of resistance in Zap, Avaşîn and Metîna, and this fascist colonialism is being held to account with revolutionary operations against chemical and banned weapons, almost uprooting them. In such a process, everyone should fulfil their duties. All young people and young women, our valuable people should know that life in the shadow of fascism cannot be called life, fascism has nothing to give us but slavery. We can and should never accept to live with such a brutal, rapist, harassing system that massacres women, children, ecology every day, ignores the will of the people, and throws hundreds of people into prisons every day."
Noting that they took over the memories of their martyred comrades Bîşeng, Sara and Tolhildan, who represent the resilient spirit of women and youth, as a compass, the youths said, "We join the Leader with their warrior spirit."
The statement continued: "As young people who have sworn to live with the Leader, we see the guerrilla positions that defend a moral and humane life against fascism and exploitation as our lodge of truth. The place of every young person who wants to live freely, humanely and honourably is the free mountains. On this basis, we call on all young people and young women to meet with the truth, to flock to the ranks of PKK and PAJK! We call on them to raise the fire of resistance on the path of Bîşengs, Saras and Tolhildans."
