Turkish warplanes that have been flying over Qandil since 13:30 today afternoon are bombing civilian areas with barrel bombs.

Local sources report that Turkish airstrikes have targeted the area between Zergelê and Pırdeshalê villages. While the bombardment continues, reports are also coming through of ongoing reconnaissance flights over the region.

No information is yet available if the airstrikes have caused casualties.
