10 HDP members continue hunger strike in custody in Mersin

10 HDP members who went on a hunger strike to support Leyla Guven continue their hunger strike in custody after being detained by the police.

10 HDP members who started a hunger strike in HDP Mersin offices on December 2 to support Democratic Society Congress (DTK) Co-chair Leyla Guven who has been on a hunger strike for the last 27 days to protest the isolation imposed on Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan were detained by the police.

The HDP Members are held in the Anti-terror Unit in the Mersin Police Directorate and continue their protest in custody.
