YPG Press Office said in a written statement that the Kobanê resistance continued for the 170th day.

Remarking that the operations of YPG/YPJ fighters were going on ceaselessly, YPG Press Centre said 11 members of ISIS gangs were killed and three others were captured alive in recent clashes.

According to the statement, 7 ISIS members were killed as a result of an attack in which YPG/YPJ targeted the gang groups deployed near the village of Celebi to the east of Kobanê last night. Arms belonging to the gangs were also seized.

Two other gang members were killed in another attack in the village of Akbas again on the eastern front.

Clashes broke out as Defense Units responded to an attack conducted by ISIS gangs near the village of Xirab Eto Ereban in west Kobanê last night. Three ISIS members were captured alive and their arms were seized by YPG/YPJ, the statement said.

YPG Press Office added that a motorcycle of the gangs was destroyed and two gang members were killed in an action carried out by Defense Units near the Dicle check point to the south of Kobanê.
