Fighters of western Kurdistan's People's Defense Units (YPG) launched an operation in Til Xelef, the deployment area of ISIS (Islamic state of Iraq and ash-Sham) and al-Nusra militants attacking the Kurdish Serekaniye city.

In yesterday night's operation against the gang groups, YPG surrounded many deployment sites of the groups which lost at least 15 members of theirs in clashes. Four of these are reportedly being held by YPG.

Following severe clashes which lasted till late into the night, YPG fighters rescued the Keşto village, located between Serekaniye and Til Xelef, from the gang groups.

Three YPG fighters who were also wounded in clashes are reportedly receiving treatment at Dirbesiye hospital now.
