Fighters of the YPG-led Syrian Democratic Forces have rescued 20 thousand civilians from Deir ez-Zor in their ongoing Operation Cizire Storm. Two children died of thirst due to lack of water where the civilians were freed from the clutches of ISIS gangs.

The rescued locals spoke to ANHA news agency and stated that the children lost their lives due to the silence of aid organizations, and made the following call to concerned organizations; “We are dying of thirst in the desert of Deir ez-Zor. Stuck in the dust, we want nothing but water.”
