People’s Defence Forces (HPG) Sinjar Command and Sinjar Resistance Units (YBŞ) General Command have reported in a joint statement that intense activity as part of the ongoing resistance in Sinjar continued.

HPG/YBŞ statement said that 2 ISIS members were killed in an attack in which a gang group was targeted near the Taxa Minare neighborhood around 8 pm yesterday evening.

According to the statement, guerrillas carried out another attack on a group of gangs that attempted to infiltrate the Martyr Erdal Hill area in Suka Jer neighborhood at 4 pm yesterday, leaving 2 other members of the gangs dead.

At 12 yesterday noon, guerrillas damaged an ISIS vehicle on move in Suka Jer neighborhood, and killed a gang member as a result of a targeted attack in the same area at 3 pm.
