Turkish police detained 5 HDP members and administrators during house raids in Bursa province.
Early Friday morning, Turkish police conducted house raids in Bursa province and took five members and administrators of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) into custody.
Those detained in the operation are HDP Bursa provincial co-chair Yüksel Akgün, HDP Party Assembly member Kezban Dumlu, Tevfik Erdoğan, Sevgi İmal Polat and Abdulküdüs Ak.
HDP Party Assembly member Kezban Dumlu was detained in Siirt and is expected to be transferred to Bursa as part of the operation.
HDP Bursa branch protested the detainments and will make a press statement in front of their headquarters in the city in the afternoon.
