Istanbul police carried out simultaneous raids on several houses last night and detained five people.

Those detained in the operation include DBP (Democratic Regions Party) Küçükçekmece district branch co-chair Servet Ataklı.

The detainees were taken to Istanbul Security Directorate following a health check in hospital.
