According to a report by ANHA News Agency, SDF fighters killed 72 ISIS members during clashes in Siwedan village, 25 km north-east of Deir ez-Zor.

After three days of fighting SDF destroyed a DShK heavy machine gun mounted pick-up truck and seized arms and ammunition. Five ISIS gangs were also captured alive.

SDF reported that seven of their fighters fell fighting during the ongoing operation to liberate the village.

SDF forces push further southwards to the northern banks of Euphrates after capturing Wadi Khalifah and several villages near Deir ez-Zor.
