DTK Co-chair and HDP MP Leyla Güven's indefinite hunger strike demanding the end of the isolation against Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan reached day 79.

Bordeaux

A demonstration was held in Bordeaux to draw attention to the hunger strike resistance carried out in Strasbourg as well as in Kuridsh and Turkish prisons, Hewler, Toronto, and many cities in Europe.

Rennes

In Rennes an action of civil disobedience took place. The action of the women's assembly ended with a call to a demonstration on Saturday.

Paris

In Paris once again Kurds took action to draw attention to the resistance of Leyla Güven, who has been on a hunger strike for 78 days to demand the end of the isolation against Öcalan.

The action was organised by France Kurdish Women's Movement (TJK-F). Kurds gathered in front of the Eiffel Tower with a photograph of Leyla Güven and opened a banner saying “We are all Leyla Güven”.

Activists urged the French government and the relevant institutions to take action as soon as possible and call on people to join the demonstration to be held today (Friday) at 2 om at Chatelet square.
