Young activists came together in Frankfurt, Germany under the leadership of the European Kurdish youth movement Jinên Ciwan ên Têkoşer (TekoJIN) and carried out an action as part of the "Werin Cenga Azadîyê" campaign.  

Celebrating the 73rd birthday of Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan in an action carried out on the main bridge in Frankfurt, the young activists called for the physical freedom of Öcalan.

The TekoJIN activists said that April 4 marks a very important day for women, representing the women's liberation struggle and the rebirth of the Kurdish people.

The activists displayed posters of Öcalan and TekoJIN flags and lighted torches during the course of the action.
