DBP (Party of Democratic Regions, formerly BDP) municipalities continue providing support to Kobanê which is now being through a process of reconstruction after being liberated owing to a historic resistance.

DBP's Akdeniz Municipality in the southern province of Mersin has sent six trucks of aid to the Kobanê town of West Kurdistan, Rojava, which remains in need of internal and international support to overcome the destruction caused by the savage attacks of inhumane ISIS gangs.

Six trucks of aid collected and sent by Akdeniz Municipality arrived in Urfa's Suruç district bordering Kobanê. The aid included basic foodstuff and clothing.

A delegation including co-mayors of Akdeniz Municipality, Fazıl Türk and Yüksel Mutlu, handed over the aid to Rojava Central Coordination in Suruç. The aid was later delivered into Kobanê from the border gate in Suruç and handed over to officials.
