The Alevi congregation DAKME in Dortmund, Germany under the Alevi federation FEDA has launched a hunger strike in support of Leyla Guven.

In a statement released on the hunger strike, the activists saluted the DTK Co-chair and HDP MP Leyla Guven on day 78 of her hunger strike against the isolation.

The statement said, “We have launched an indefinite alternating hunger strike in the DAKME in Dortmund. We are calling on all Alevis to stand with those who resist.
