According to ANHA’s article, the Turkish army has used cluster bombs in Afrin’s Jindirese district and the Kefer Sefrê village and other neighboring villages.

109 countries refuse to use cluster bombs due to the damage they inflict on humans and nature, but Turkey still uses them against the Kurdish people.

The weapon is also called “fragmentation ammunition”, and it includes multiple small explosives and submunition. They are airdropped or fired from land, to be detonated in the air.

The invading Turkish state had previously admitted to using this explosive weapon against Kurds.
