Hunger strikes demanding the removal of the isolation imposed upon Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Ocalan and his wellbeing, safety and freedom continue to spread.

As DTK Co-chair and HDP MP Leyla Guven’s hunger strike continues on day 75, Kurdish politician Nasir Yagiz’s hunger strike in Hewler, Southern Kurdistan has reached day 62.

The hunger strike of Imam Sis who launched a hunger strike in Newport, Wales simultaneously with 14 Kurdish politicians, journalists in Strasbourg, France also continues.

Kurdish citizen Yusuf Iba also recently started a hunger strike in Toronto, Canada.

Huseyin Yildiz who lives in the Hague in the Netherlands joined the hunger strike the day before, and Hasbi Cakici yesterday.
