Another Kurdish kolbar killed in Piranshahr

Iranian regime forces killed 30 years old kolbar Kamil Mehmûd in Piranshahr.

Iranian regime forces have killed another Kurdish kolbar (load carriers on the border for a fee) in the Piranshahr city of the Urmia province in Rojhilat (Eastern Kurdistan).

According to Kurdistan Human Rights Association, Iranian regime forces opened fire on 30-year-old kolbar Kamil Mehmûd in Piranshahr, on the border between Rojhilat and Southern Kurdistan, two days ago.

Kamil Mehmûd’s body still hasn’t been given to his family.

On the other hand, Iranian border guards opened fire on a group of border Kolbars and tradesmen in Kani Khoa border area on October 10th. In this incident, a 37-year-old kolbar called Ali T, married and resident of Piranshahr, was shot in the head,” an informed source told Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN).

“The local people transferred the wounded kolbar to one of the treatment centres of Piranshahr where his wound was treated.” the source told KHRN.

Despite the widespread protests to killing of Kolbars in various cities of Kurdistan during recent months, the systematic killings of Kolbars and tradesmen still continue and several protesters to such killings are still held in detention.
