It has come out that B.D., who was among those arrested on charges of killing of 4 people during 6-8 demonstrations in Amed in solidarity with Kobanê, had been receiving treatment at Selahattin Eyyübi State Hospital between 2-24 October.
According to the documents sent by Selahattin Eyyübi State Hospital, B.D., one of those arrested on the basis of statements by secret witnesses, had received treatment at psychiatry service of the hospital between 2-24 October. Records also show that the hospital certified B.D. 45 percent disabled.
According to the indictment, B.D. was arrested for allegedly taking part in a group that killed Ahmet Dakak, Hasan Gökyüz, Riyat Güneş, Yasin Börü and kicking the corpses on the ground. The arrest was executed on the basis of the statements of a suspect and secret witness 'Kanarya-1'.
Another person, A.A.Y., who was also arrested on 18 March for alleged involvement in killings was released from prison two days later when it was revealed that he had been jailed in Diyarbakır E Type Prison at the time of the incidents.
