The Bismil district office of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) in Amed was attacked by an unknown person with guns at 01:00 a.m. last night.

There are no injuries as the building was empty at the time. There is minor damage to the building.

Police arrived at the building after the attack and investigated the scene. According to eye witnesses, the attacker is a 25 to 30-year-old man. Efforts continue for his capture.

Party officials protested the attack and will file charges.
