Body of Budak killed by soldiers taken to hospital morgue

Turkish soldiers opened fire on human shields who went to the area of clashes between HPG (People's Defense Forces) guerrillas and Turkish army in Ağrı province of North Kurdistan today. Former co-chair of HDP Diyadin organisation Cezmi Budak lost his life and MEYA-DER representative Cenap İlboğa has been wounded as a result of the attack.
The body of Budak has been taken to Diyadin State Hospital's morgue and is expected to be referred to the Forensic Medicine Institution in the northern province of Trabzon.
MEYA-DER representative Cenap İlboğa who was hit by three bullets, in chest, calf and arm, was firstly taken to Ağrı State Hospital. Following emergency response here, he was referred to Erzurum State Hospital. İlboğa is reportedly not to be in a life-threatening situation.
Four soldiers reported wounded in the clash have also been taken to the emergency unit of Ağrı State Hospital.
