Fighting between YPG/YPJ (People's/Women's Defense Units) and ISIS gangs is ceaselessly going on in Kobanê and Cizîre cantons of West Kurdistan, Rojava.

YPG Press Centre said in a written statement that resistance against ISIS attacks on the western borderline of the Cizîre Canton continued.

The statement said that gang groups attempted to launch an attack on the village of Ehraz 2 km south of Til Temir's Menacir village last night. Gang groups were forced to flee the area following a short-lasting clash while no information was immediately available regarding the exact number of casualties on ISIS side.

According to the statement, 2 members of the gang groups were killed in an attack in which Defense Units targeted the gang groups deployed near the village of Til Baz in Til Temir last night.

Recalling that the Kobanê resistance against the occupation attempt of ISIS continued on the 196th day, YPG said that clashes in and around the village of Sepeta Ereban to the south of Kobanê were continuing. 3 members of the gang groups were killed in last night's clashes, it added.
