Heavy clashes have erupted Thursday between HPG (People's Defence Forces) and Sinjar Resistance Units (YBŞ) against ISIS gangs in the Sinjar region.

Clashes are taking place in the village of Cidalê to the southwest of Sinjar where the ISIS occupation first began in August, and Gabara and Kızılkent villages since early morning.

The HPG Sinjar Command is expected to issue a statement about the details of the clashes in the coming hours.
