Clashes broke out between People's Defense Units (YPG) and al-Qaeda linked ISIL (Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant) in the Efrin region of west Kurdistan.

Clashes erupted after al-Qaeda linked groups launched attacks targeting the region of Qestel Cindo village, in Efrin's Shera district, on Sunday evening.

One member of the gang groups was killed and one other was wounded in clashes with YPG fighters who also seized many kalashnikov weapons of the groups.
