Crowd gathered in front of Leyla Güven’s house in Amed

People from Amed’s main parties and organisations met in front of Leyla Güven’s house in Amed to show their solidarity.

Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) and Democratic Regions Party (DBP) Bağlar district organization executives, met in front of Democratic Society Congress (DTK) co-chair and HDP Hakkari MP Leyla Güven’s house in Amed (Diyarbakır) to show their solidarity.

Güven has been on hunger strike for 83 days, demanding the abolition of isolation against Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan.

The crowd saluted and commended Güven with minutes of applause in front of her house. The HDP deputy got out on the balcony and welcomed the crowd making the victory sign.

Leyla Güven said: “Hello hello to you. First of all, I greet and congratulate your resistance. I salute you friends, I am very well. Do not worry about me. Good evening and goodbye.”
