Delegation heads for İmralı

Delegation for İmralı talks has left for the island to visit Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan in the island prison today.

Delegation for İmralı talks has left  to visit Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan in the island prison today.

The delegation consists of HDP (Peoples' Democratic Party) group deputy chairs Pervin Buldan and İdris Baluken, Istanbul MP Sırrı Süreyya Önder, DTK (Democratic Society Congress) Co-president Hatip Dicle and KJA (Free Women's Congress, formerly DÖKH) member Ceylan Bağrıyanık.

The meeting will reportedly witness a discussion on Öcalan's message that will be read out at Newroz celebration in the main Kurdish city Amed.
