Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) has cancelled its parliamentary group meeting which was set to take place today on the occasion of the 24th term and 3rd legislative year of the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM).

The BDP meeting has been cancelled because of co-chair Selahattin Demirtaş currently being in Diyarbakır where he will hold a press conference at BDP Amed office at 12.30 local time today.

BDP co-chair is expected to speak concerning the democratic resolution process and the rumors in the Turkish press that he will resign.
