Large number of police teams and armored vehicles have surrounded the province of Dersim before the arrival of Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu who will be attending the provincial congress of the AKP today.

Armored vehicles and special operation teams have been deployed at every step across the city, mainly along the route Davutoğlu will pass by and the neighborhood of Sihenk.

Additional armored vehicles and police units have been despatched from surrounding provinces to the Dersim city which is also witnessing helicopter activity.
