Dicle News Agency (DIHA) reporter Cüneyt Hacıoğlu has been arrested late Monday for allegedly being member of an illegal organization.

Hacıoğlu had been taken into custody in Şırnak's Uludere district on Saturday following a police raid in his house.

After being referred to Uludere Courthouse, DIHA reporter was remanded in custosy, increasing the number of journalists in Turkish prisons to 68.

According to the figures of Platform for Solidarity with Arrested Journalists, 67 journalists were jailed in Turkish prisons as of 4 July 2013, including six publishers and editors in chief.
