A landmine exploded near the Esacire village in Khanaqin's Sehdiye town as a Hashd al-Shaabi forces' vehicle was passing.

Hashd al-Shaabi 110th Battalion Commander Cemal Cenabî lost his life in the explosion, and 4 others were wounded.

The wounded people are in critical condition and have been taken to the Baqube Hospital for treatment.
