An armed attack carried out from a gendarmerie station in Dargeçit district of Mardin has targeted people having attended the funeral of Bilal Gezer and Sinan Toprak who were killed in an another armed attack perpetrated by a group of assailants -said to be supporters of Hür Dava Party- that targeted demonstrators marching to greet the Kobanê resistance on Wednesday.

A number of people including Dargeçit co-mayor Sinan Akan have been wounded in the attack carried out from the gendarmerie station in the district. Six of those wounded are reported to be in critical condition.

Akan is reported to have got wounded on an arm.
