Forest fire continues for the sixth day in Semdinli
A fire continues to rage forests around Sapatan village, in Semdinli for the sixth day.
A fire continues to rage forests around Sapatan village, in Semdinli for the sixth day.
The forests of the Sapatan village of Hakkari's district Semdinli are burning since days. Turkish officials took no action against the fire.
The affected area which lies only 2 kilometers far from the district's center. Turkish governor declared a curfew in the area for 7 days, starting from August 27. The forest fire started after Turkish army bombarded the area.
Because of the curfew, Turkish state prevents villagers from going to the fire zone and put out the flames. And the Turkish officials are simply doing nothing to stop the forest fire.
