The Governor of Istanbul has reported in a statement about today's Kobanê protests across the city and its districts that 98 demonstrators were taken into custody in the districts of Arnavutköy, Ataşehir, Bağcılar, Başakşehir, Beyoğlu, Esenler, Esenyurt, Eyüp, Gaziosmanpaşa, Kadıköy, Kağıthane, Küçükçekmece, Maltepe, Sultanbeyli, Sultangazi, Sancaktepe, Ümraniye and Zeytinburnu.

The statement noted that a total of 30 people, including 8 police officers, were injured in violent clashes in the mentioned neighborhoods.
