HDP: A Monitoring Committee must be established asap

HDP announced in a written statement that its delegation highlighted to Akdoğan the urgency of the need to establish a monitoring committee to follow up the negotiations between the parties. HDP added that no names to take part in such a committee have been mentioned in the meeting.
The statement of the HDP said that the delegation composed of Parliamentary Group deputy chair Pervin Buldan and Istanbul deputy Sırrı Süreyya Önder met deputy Prime Minister Yalçın Akdoğan yesterday evening in the parliament in the scope of the contacts for the resolution process.
“Our delegation conveyed to the government the opinion and the proposal of our party for the establishment of a monitoring committee as soon as possible. However, no names have been mentioned in the meeting as it was alleged in some press organs”, the statement added.
