A delegation of the HDP (Peoples' Democratic Party) has left for İmralı Island where they will meet Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan.

The HDP delegation consists of HDP group deputy co-chairs İdris Baluken and Pervin Buldan, Istanbul deputy Sırrı Süreyya Önder, DTK (Democratic Society Congress) co-president Hatip Dicle and Ceylan Bağrıyanık.

The delegation has also held meetings with KCK executives and Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Yalçın Akdoğan within this week.
