The Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Women's Assembly met with German Left Party deputies and executives in Cologne and Düsseldorf.
A delegation consisting of HDP spokeswoman Ayşe Acar Başaran, Mardin Deputy Pero Dundar and members of the Women's Assembly met with Left Party’s Düsseldorf Chair Kea Detmers, NRW State Green Party Deputy Berivan Aymaz and NRW State Left Party executive Michaele Gincel-Reinhard.
The delegation held talks on a series of issues including the medical condition of jailed Kurdish politician Aysel Tuğluk, attacks on women's gains, the Kobanê Trial and the closure case against the HDP.
