Last night in Amed, the police raided Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Sur district offices at 01:00. The raid came before an event the Sur Youth Assembly was to hold today. The police broke down the doors to get in and searched the building.
The police reportedly took fingerprint samples, and confiscated posters of Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Ocalan and Jineology journals.
HDP Sur District Co-chair Sevim Coskun protested and condemned the police raid.
