The hearing of imprisoned former Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Co-chair Selahattin Demirtas continued on the third day in the Ankara Heavy Penal Court No.19 in the Sincan Prison Campus.

Demirtas attended the hearing through the video conferencing system SEGBIS and said he is being held on remand on political reasons, demanding his release.

Lawyers of Demirtas submitted their defense, after which the court announced their ruling to postpone the hearing to April 24-25.
