High tensions continue in Deir ez-Zor, SDF to give statement
Syrian regime forces have attempted a new attack against the SDF fighters’ positions in Deir ez-Zor. The SDF is expected to give a statement on the developments in Deir ez-Zor today.
According to local sources, from noon yesterday to yesterday evening Syrian regime forces fired mortars against the Al-Salihiyah and Al-Hisaniyah villages and the Al-Jiniyah and Al-Jîa villages to the northeast of Deir ez-Zor where Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) fighters’ positions are located.
The SDF is expected to hold a press conference on the attacks and the Operation Cizire Storm today.
