MLKP (Marxist Leninist Communist Party) fighter internationalist Ivana Hoffmann who lost her life as a result of ISIS attacks in Til Temir on 7 March will be laid to rest in Duisburg city of Germany today.
Ivana Hoffmann Solidarity Committee said in a statement that preparations for the funeral and march for Hoffmann have been completed.
A march set to start from in front of the Amtsgericht Hamborn at 1 pm today is expected to witness the participation of thousands including Hoffmann's family and families of martyrs. The march will start following speeches by representatives of various women's organizations.
The march will be followed by a commemoration ceremony at the cemetery where Hoffman will be laid to rest today. PYD (Democratic Union Party) Co-president Salih Muslim and HDP (Peoples' Democratic Party) Co-president Figen Yüksekdağ will also attend the funeral ceremony which will also witness speeches by representatives of various organizations and parties, and a cinevision projection telling about Ivana Hoffmann and her struggle.
Hoffmann will be buried near the USSR (Union of Soviet Socialist Republics) soldiers killed during the 2nd World War.
