Turkish police carried out raids on several houses in İzmir province as well as Esenyurt, Kartal, Avcılar and Esenler districts of Istanbul early Tuesday morning.
Nurgül Doğan, Ayla Subaşı and Fatih Ilgın were taken into custody in the raids.
The operations has reportedly targeted those alleged to have participated in the funeral in İzmir of Teslim Demir, a founding member of TKİP (The Communist Workers’ Party of Turkey).
