Popular Defence Forces (HPG) released a statement about recent clashes in Hakkari between HPG guerrillas and the Turkish army.
HPG confirmed that Turkish drones and helicopters bombarded Hakkari’s Deze region on September 3, but denied Turkish claims for the killing of four guerrillas.
“The operation of the Turkish army retreated without a result at 11 pm. The dirty war media reported that our 4 comrades were martyred. Our 4 comrades gave the enemy units hard losses and retreated to their bases” the statement read.
