People's Defense Forces Press Centre (HPG-BIM) said in a written statement that HPG guerrilla Delil Dozvan (Yıldırım Bat) who was wounded in the operation of the Turkish army at Tendürek in Ağrı on 10 April has lost his life.

HPG-BIM recalled that the operation which was started for an entire destruction of a guerrilla emplacement turned into a clash following the first fire opened by the Turkish army at 3 am on 11 April night.

The statement said that Delil Dozvan (Yıldırım Bat) who was wounded in the clash and has been receiving treatment since has lost his life in mid April.

Vowing to continue the determined fight of Delil Dozvan and Canfeda Serhat (Serhat Kızılay) who also fell in Tendürek resistance, HPG pledged victory to honor the memories of the martyrs.

HPG-BIM ended the statement with the following information regarding the fallen HPG guerrilla; "Yıldırım Bat, nom de guerre Delil Dozvan, born in Van, lost his life in Ağrı in April 2015."
