According to the information provided by HPG Press and Communication Center, HPG guerrillas took action against Turkish military in Hakkari province. Several soldiers are reportedly killed during guerrilla offensive.

In Semdinli, a district of Hakkari province, HPG guerrillas took action against Dêrik military post on Friday morning. The military positions around the military post was effectively hit by guerrillas and several Turkish soldiers were killed.

At 8h today, HPG guerrillas targeted Turkish army’s military positions in Oremar in rural Yuksekova. Guerrillas hit army units positioned in Martyr Rahime and Martyr Zerdest hills. HPG stated that there are several casualties on Turkish side.

After the attack Turkish army hit Martyr Rahime valley and Martyr Tofan hill with howitzers.

Yesterday, HPG guerrillas hit Turkish military positions around Kokebê military post, in rural Esendere, a district of Hakkari province. At least 1 Turkish soldier was killed in the attack. Turkish army launched an operation after the attack and attack helicopters bombed the area around the military post.

SIIRT

In Pervari, a district of Siirt province HPG guerrillas targeted a military convoy with rocket launchers and heavy weapons yesterday. An armoured Kirpi military transport vehicle took a direct hit and several casualties were reported.   

ADIYAMAN

Also in Adiyaman a military convoy was ambushed by HPG guerrillas on 30 August. An armoured vehicle was destroyed during the attack. Turkish army launched an operation in the area right after the guerrilla action.
